Lecture at
Kyungmin University!
We were one of the publishers that once again got the center of attention. We got an offer to teach at the Kyungmin University, located in Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do.
We were called upon to teach visionary adults who dreamt of being an art teacher. Whether that's an art teacher or art therapist, these adults loved the idea that there was no right or wrong in art.
An actual class was held within the lecture room, as we taught them process by process what needed to be done. These teachers had the opportunity to experience what children go through when learning art. In addition, it made it clear how easy it was to learn art through the textbook we published.
The adults understood the idea that, in order to teach art to children, we all have to be in their eye level. There is no boundary with art nor the judgement of immaturity or maturity. We try to implement that idea through our way of teaching, so that there is no good or bad; yet only leaves the viewers curious enough to start having a conversation about the artist's work.
This way of understanding art really puts a smile on everyone's faces. Empathy and conversation is what we encourage mainly through the usage of our books.
Our day comes to a close with a show and tell, where artists compliment each other and give advice. The fact that we have the same topic yet different results, puts a smile on our faces.
